Save Our Sanctuary!

Sadly, due to the hot, dry summer we have had, none of our grass has grown. We have had to feed our animals the entire winter hay stock just to get through the summer, and now need to replenish the stock for winter. This is a very important appeal to us, as without it we cannot feed the animals, so we are incredibly grateful to anyone that can help.

Lotus Lamb & Animal Sanctuary is a vegan-run animal sanctuary based in West Sussex. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide life-long care to animals who have suffered from neglect and abuse, and we strive to find suitable forever homes for those who are adoptable (more information on re-homing here).

To care for all our animals, we rely on your generosity, either by sponsoring an animal, donating to the sanctuary, or volunteering, so thank you for helping us help them!

Sponsoring one of our animals helps us provide the best care possible. All of our sponsors receive a sponsorship pack of goodies and the opportunity to visit the sanctuary and meet your buddy!

At the sanctuary, we have over 200 animals, and lots of them are available to sponsor, including our sheep, pigs, turkeys, and horses!

It takes a village to raise a baby, and the sanctuary is no exception! Our amazing volunteers help us provide care to all our animals, from daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled ‘shifts’, to one-off volunteer days for the big jobs. We wouldn’t be able to do it without them and always love welcoming new people to the family, so if you have a love for animals, a big heart, and wellie boots, sign up today!
