Meet our beautiful Berry Blast!

Born one of triplets on a farm in Wiltshire, Berry was destined for breeding and her subsequent lambs intended for slaughter.

A kind sanctuary supporter managed to rescue Berry from this devastating life and she came to live with Hayley at just two weeks old Initially, Hayley hand-reared Berry at home, so Berry was raised around two of Hayley’s dogs; Hayley even used to walk her on the lead with them!

Berry has battled bloat on many occasions; one particularly scary time, we thought we would lose her, and had to rush to the vets, but thankfully she came out the other side.

She moved to the sanctuary when she was four months old, and took a while to acclimatise without her home comforts! She settled in well, and now you can usually find her hanging around with the Shetlands. She is a funny, sweet girl who basically thinks she is a dog!
