Chester (R) and Gordan (L) are our notorious double act!

A bonded pair, plus Simon (a bonded trio, really!), they originally came from a loving home in the New Forest. Sadly their owners had to surrender the after losing their land. The trio were offered a temporary home at Kilmarnock Horse Rescue in Crawley, but after seeing them online Hayley knew they would be a perfect fit at the sanctuary.

Gordon is a very sweet and gentle boy. He takes his time to get to know you (mints tend to win him over!), but once he does he is very affectionate. He likes a stroke and will even try to cuddle the volunteers.

Chester is a cheeky chap and the ringleader of the bunch! Small but mighty, he’s not afraid to show everyone who’s boss. The cause of a lot of mischief at the sanctuary, he loves to wind everyone up with his antics.
