Clarence was our first rescue pig at the sanctuary.

Clarence has a rather remarkable story: he managed to escape from a nearby slaughterhouse in the autumn of 2022 and was found skinny and neglected, by a lovely lady who took him in to live with her cows. Tragically, his saviour was killed in a car crash not long after she had rescued him, and so the land owners planned to kill him for dog meat.

Luckily, Clarence was living close to the sanctuary and Hayley was able to save him from a horrible fate. She rehomed him at the sanctuary, where he is now a happy, healthy pig.
