Deerface, named for his lovely deer-like appearance, is a beautiful sheep that has been presented with many challenges.

Born in 2021, he was orphaned from a young age and given to Maggie, another sanctuary sheep, to be raised.

Deerface was born with an undershot jaw, making it difficult for him to latch on and nurse when he was a lamb. As he grows, he continues to struggle with eating shorter grass, which led to some concerns about his weight.

However, since relocating the sanctuary, Deerface has thrived! He enjoys a wider selection of long grass which suits his condition much better. He is now looking much happier and healthier!
