Meet our superstar and biscuit queen, Dolly!

You may already be familiar with this beautiful girl as she has somewhat become the face of the sanctuary!

Dolly came to us in January 2024 with her sister Polly, having been the victims of a brutal and intentional dog attack. Dolly and Polly were found in a bad way, and their rescuer quickly realised the sisters needed more specialist help than they could provide.

Sadly, Polly didn’t survive her injuries. The day Dolly arrived at the sanctuary, she had to have her ears surgically removed because the tissue had died since the attack. Her eye had been punctured by another bite and she had bite marks all around her neck. We created a fundraiser for her veterinary care, and the response we received was incredible.

Because of the support, Dolly has had the best care possible and she has improved tremendously since. We are so proud of how far this girl has come, and her beautiful, sweet, and sassy personality is shining through! You’ll now find her following everyone around the sanctuary, checking she' doesn’t miss out on any biscuits!
