McClaren is one of the original flock that inspired the sanctuary.

McClaren first wandered into the field behind Hayley’s home in the summer of 2021, along with his siblings Roy, Mercedes, Chubbs, Porsche, and Bentley.

McClaren and his siblings quickly fitted in with the sheep Hayley already had, so Hayley tried to buy them from the farmer but was initially refused.

After months of the sheep being shut in a tiny barn, and much persuasion from Hayley, the farmer finally change their mind, and Hayley bought McClaren and the gang.

At the sanctuary, McClaren is always first over for a cuddle and loves a fuss. He will paw you like a dog if you stop scratching him, and will only let you go when he decides!
