Wobble became the first turkey at the sanctuary in October 2024.

Hayley had long been wanting to rescue a turkey from the Christmas table, and after many attempts over a few years, Wobble became the first turkey at the sanctuary. We managed to rescue him at only a few months old, before he could be slaughtered.

Turkeys raised for meat are usually killed at 4-5 months old, but at the sanctuary Wobble will get to live his life free from pain or fear, where hopefully he could grow to be up to 10 years old!
