Sally is one strong fighter.

Sally arrived at the sanctuary on 7th May 2024, after Hayley was contacted by the farmer’s wife who had also helped rescue Berry, Tiny, and Lupin. Sally had very suddenly become unwell, unable to stand on her legs or even lift her head up, so she would have otherwise been sent to market where she would have died.

Of course, Hayley immediately agreed to rescuing Sally, and so ensued numerous vet and physio trips, getting Sally back on her feet. During her rehabilitation we also found out that Sally has a neurological condition which affects all of her limbs and has left her with less control over her left side.

She is very special, strong, and loving member of the flock and knows her name when you call her for food!
